Montenegrin Electric Company - Elektroprivreda Crne Gore (EPCG) has been actively promoting environmental, social and governance (ESG) practices in its operations. In terms of environmental sustainability, EPCG has implemented project of ecological reconstruction of the termo power plant while diversificating production towards renewable energy sources such as wind, solar, and hydro power. The company has announced the construction of HPPs 'Komarnica' and „Kruševo“, the 'Gvozd' wind farm and 'Briska Gora' solar power plant, among other projects. These projects are a part of EPCG's commitment to increasing the share of renewable energy in its production mix and reducing its reliance on fossil fuels.
