Bloomberg Adria and Sustineri Partners are excited to announce a joint event that aims to explore the impact of ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) and sustainable finance on businesses in Southeast Europe (SEE). Our joint webinar "ESG AS A DRIVER OF GREEN TRANSITION" is scheduled for January 31st.

The webinar will provide an in-depth examination of the effects of Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) and sustainable finance on businesses. The speakers will delve into the various trends and drivers, both positive and negative, that are influencing the adoption of ESG practices, including regulatory requirements and access to green capital. The webinar will also explore the impact of these trends on the economies of South East Europe and investigate the most material topics for the region.

Additionally, the webinar will investigate the opportunities for businesses to benefit from the trend of near-shoring in Europe, in the wake of the pandemic, extreme weather events, and geopolitical crisis. Experienced practitioners in the ESG and sustainable finance field will examine how ESG impacts business through financial institutions, the benefits and downsides of action and delay, key sustainable finance opportunities, and the supply status for ESG financial assets in South East Europe. The webinar will also provide an outlook for 2022 in terms of ESG global assets performance and supply and for 2023.

ESG has emerged as a key driver of the green transition, and businesses in Southeast Europe (SEE) are increasingly recognizing the direct and indirect impacts of ESG and sustainable finance on their operations.
