The green transition is not just a determination, but the only possible path to sustainable development, is the message of the meeting of the Montenegrin Deputy Prime Minister for Security, Internal Policy, European and Foreign Affairs, Aleksa Bečić, and the CEO of Sustineri Partners, Biljana Braithwaite, on the occasion of the ESG Adria Summit, which is being organized for the second time in a row in Montenegro, in partnership with the Government of Montenegro.

Bečić said that the issue of sustainable development and the goals of Agenda 2030 is fully compatible with the process of European integration.

Biljana Braithwaite and Vanja Radević from Sustineri Partners presented the program of the ESG Adria Summit 2024, which will continue to gather numerous dignitaries from the region next year and provide a common platform for dialogue on sustainable finance, green transition and social license to operate.

Braithwaite said that they want to create continuity, to give birth to some new initiatives, to gather as many people as possible from the world of finance and to strengthen the support of the Government.

"And that by laying good foundations at the first Summit, we will be even more ambitious at the next one, which we will set in partnership and strategically," concluded Braithwaite.

The ESG Adria Summit will be held in Tivat from April 24 to 26, 2024, organized by Sustineri Partners and Porto Montenegro, in partnership with Government of Montenegro and under the auspices of the President of Montenegro, Jakov Milatović.

The support of the President and the Government of Montenegro, in the implementation of the largest regional event dedicated to sustainable development, innovation and the green agenda, shows a strong political will and the importance of the ESG agenda for Montenegro on the path to European Union.

Over the course of three days, in Porto Montenegro, Montenegro will host presidents from the region, representatives of regional governments, numerous world-renowned experts, companies and business leaders, all with the aim of even greater progress, as well as further regional cooperation in the field of environmental protection, sustainable development, social and responsible corporate governance (ESG standards).
