The Western Balkans ESG Summit is the first major regional event dedicated to Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) topics. The Inaugural ESG Summit, held in April 2023 in Porto Montenegro, Tivat, has created a strong momentum gathering over 450 participants representing 150 companies from the entire region and beyond and demonstrating their readiness to follow the new standards and practices. Furthermore, the event has ignited a vital, high-level discussion on sustainability, with more than 70 expert speakers and over 100 C-level attendees, from Europe to the United States of America. Covered by more than 40 journalists, the Summit attracted significant regional and international media attention. Interest went beyond the borders of the Western Balkans, leading to expansion into the Adria region and ESG Adria Summit in 2024 now encompasses Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia, Kosovo, North Macedonia, Montenegro, Serbia, and Slovenia.
