As early as 2021, Hipotekarna Banka recognized the importance of ESG principles and signed the Principles for Responsible Banking, becoming the first bank in Montenegro to join the United Nations Environment Programme Finance Initiative.

  • Mobile and Web Banking: Upgraded applications and web platforms provide clients with easy and secure access to financial services. In fact the company increased its transactions through HB Klik (desktop banking app) by 77% between 2019 and 2023. 
  • Google and Apple Pay: The Bank was the first on the market to launch Google Pay services in mid-2023.
  • Contactless Payments: Integration with Apple Pay and Google Pay, as well as the introduction of the SOFT POS service (mojPOS), enable fast and simple payments.
  • Process Automation: Utilizing robots and artificial intelligence to automate internal processes, such as document processing and order execution, increases efficiency and reduces costs.
  • Video Identification: The video identification service allows clients to manage their accounts without visiting a branch, which is particularly beneficial for clients living abroad.
