The regional ESG Adria Summit begins on Wednesday, April 24th, in Tivat, Montenegro, which will bring together numerous distinguished guests from the region and the world, presidents of states, representatives of regional governments, globally recognised experts, numerous regional companies, and international partners under the slogan "Act Now for a Sustainable Tomorrow" from April 24th to 26th.

The ESG Adria Summit is organized by Sustineri Partners and Porto Montenegro, in partnership with the Government of Montenegro, and under the auspices of the President of Montenegro.

"Over the course of three days, ESG Adria Summit will host more than 600 participants in Tivat, representatives of more than 250 companies and organisations, as well as more than 100 world-renowned speakers. We are honored that the ESG Adria Summit will host numerous officials and delegations from Europe and the world, and, at the invitation of the President of Montenegro, Jakov Milatović, and as part of her first official state visit, the President of the Republic of Slovenia, Nataša Pirc Musar, will attend the summit," said Biljana Braithwaite, CEO of Sustineri Partners and founder of the ESG Adria Summit.

Federica Mogherini, Rector of the College of Europe, Dunja Mijatović, former Commissioner for Human Rights at the Council of Europe, Tim Reid, CEO of UK Export Finance, the British export financing agency, representatives of governments from the region, numerous business leaders, and international partners are all joining us at the ESG Adria Summit. This will also mark the first visit of a representative of UK Export Finance to the Western Balkans region. The ESG Adria Summit has become a place for building partnerships and fostering regional initiatives, especially in the field of green transition and sustainable finance, important for Montenegro and all countries in the region. The focus of this year's summit is also cooperation and the European future of the region, energy transition, the role of youth and innovation in accelerating the implementation of the ESG agenda in our region.

"People are the greatest asset of this region, and that is why numerous discussions will be focused on sustainable development, preventing brain drain, and increasing the role of youth in the economic transition of society, as well as on advanced technologies, artificial intelligence, and the significance of ESG standards in attracting investments in the Adria region," Braithwaite highlighted.
