Benedikt Franke, Executive Director and Vice President of the Munich Security Conference (MSC), has confirmed his attendance at the ESG Adria Summit in Montenegro this April. The event, taking place from April 9 to 11 in Porto Montenegro, has attracted numerous speakers from around the world, highlighting its importance.
Franke, a distinguished expert in global security and international relations, has led the Munich Security Conference since 2020. He has facilitated numerous dialogues among international leaders, policymakers, academics, and the private sector on today’s key challenges.
“Benedikt Franke's presence at the Summit is of great significance. He not only understands global security challenges but also knows how to link them with issues of sustainable development, energy, and responsible governance. His experience from the Munich Security Conference brings a unique perspective that will enrich the discussions and open new avenues for action,” said Biljana Braithwaite, Director of Sustineri Partners and organizer of the ESG Adria Summit.
The Munich Security Conference, established in 1963, is renowned as the world’s leading platform for discussing security issues. It gathers prominent global leaders, including heads of state, ministers, academics, and experts from various sectors. The MSC focuses on advancing global stability, strengthening cooperation, and addressing challenges such as climate change, hybrid threats, and technological transitions.
The collaboration with MSC further underscores the importance of the ESG Adria Summit as a bridge between regional initiatives and European priorities.
“The world is at a crossroads. Energy insecurity, climate risks, and technological threats are testing our resilience but also offer opportunities for progress through innovation and cooperation. The ESG Adria Summit gathers key stakeholders precisely for these discussions – to define practical steps for the future. The arrival of leaders in Montenegro adds further weight to these conversations,” Braithwaite concluded.
The ESG Adria Summit is organized by Sustineri Partners and Porto Montenegro in collaboration with the Government of Montenegro and under the auspices of the President of Montenegro.
