Ian Goldin, a professor at the University of Oxford, former vice president of the World Bank, and long-time advisor to Nelson Mandela, has been confirmed as one of the speakers at the ESG Adria Summit 2025, which will take place from April 9 to 11 in Porto Montenegro, under the patronage of the President of Montenegro and in collaboration with the Government of Montenegro.
Goldin, a globally recognized expert in globalization, innovation, and sustainable development, will provide an important perspective on the future of cities and migration in the context of ESG principles. He is the author of several books, including The Butterfly Defect, which analyzes global challenges related to economic integration and interdependencies between countries. His book Rescue: From Global Crisis to a Better World examines how to respond to crisis situations and build a more resilient and sustainable global order.
"The ESG Adria Summit is not just a platform for the exchange of ideas but a driver of concrete changes. The presence of Professor Goldin, with his global experience and vision, adds a broader context and deeper significance to our event. At a time when we are facing critical challenges—from climate change to migration—it's important to connect leaders from different sectors to shape a sustainable future," said Biljana Braithwaite, founder of Sustineri Partners and organizer of the Summit.
The summit in Porto Montenegro will bring together leaders from various sectors, including business, government, and academia from across the region, to discuss the latest trends and challenges in the implementation of ESG principles in development.
