A new chapter on the path to sustainable development has been opened for the Adria region. The journey towards more responsible and greener business operations has started with the Western Balkans ESG Summit in 2023, the first major regional event devoted to sustainable development and dialogue on greater responsibility of the business sector regarding environmental, social and governance standards (ESG) in practice.

The Summit, held in April 2023 in Porto Montenegro, Tivat, has created a strong momentum gathering over 450 participants representing 150 companies from the entire region and beyond and demonstrating their readiness to follow the new standards and practices. Furthermore, the event has ignited a vital, high-level discussion on sustainability, with more than 70 expert speakers and over 100 C-level attendees, from Europe to the United States of America. Covered by more than 40 journalists, the Summit attracted significant regional and international media attention.
